Welcome to our fourth online Conscious Earth Alliance Conference where we explore building communities on the land in times of crisis. There are now many reasons to get out of the cities, and many advantages to living in the countryside. With the Covid crisis and Great Reset agendas and the push for “smart cities”, more people than ever are looking to move to the land.

In this conference we focus on a range of practical factors for living on the land, whether in  a developed intentional community, a homestead or a yurt in a forest.

The themes we will cover include:

  • The context: why we need local self-reliant communities today, especially in the face of present political and economic situations.
  • Positive Responses: Permaculture, growing and sharing food, earth houses and collective building, natural healing and herbal clinics.
  • Education: home-schooling, life-long learning, indigenous and new paradigm ways of learning;
  • Cultivating a new culture: mutual emotional support, collective decision-making and self-governance processes in the context of community living.
  • The physics of bio-buildings that allow life-force (and seeds!) to grow.
  • Integrating the Subtle and Spiritual Dimensions: meditation, yogic practices, energy work, studies in higher consciousness, cosmology and indigenous spirituality.

Life in the country offers many obvious benefits: community support, land to grow food on, clean water sources, air to breathe, nourishing connections with nature, safety for children, a more relaxed and human pace – in short, control over our own lives, and the power to create for ourselves the kind of society we want to live in.

The age of industrialized, city-based living has reached a peak. The calling has never been stronger to get out of the cities and into the country, where we can build a new self-reliant, flourishing life, free of the growing tyranny around us, and at the same time provide an inspirational model for others.

It is time to reclaim our stake in our own future, for the sake not only of our survival but our personal and collective freedom and well-being, and the sacredness of all life.

Join our talented and dedicated speakers who explore these exciting and important themes.

Please share this with your friends and contacts.

Introduction and welcome with Radha Cohen

Radha

Radha studied Permaculture design and has been involved in the last 20 years with various communities and Eco-Villages in Australia, France and Italy. Especially she has helped develop what is called Master Units, meaning self sufficient projects, 100% off greed, using recycled materials for building, establishing abundant permaculture gardens, solar systems, Dams and irrigation systems, attracting many volunteers workers and travellers from all over the world. People also come to these safe zones to learn mind elevating and life changing art of Yoga and Meditation, and a balanced eco-spiritual life style.

In the Introduction Radha will show the 3 tiers of Safe Zones:

1) Master Units, Communities or Eco-villages. Meaning self-sufficient safe zones, based on all-round service, that inspires and offers
a balanced, healthy and proactive lifestyle. They become a centre for the local community, and demonstrates new technologies for environmental sustainability while providing guidelines for communal living and spiritual elevation.

2) The second Safe Zone identified is the “Networking” among small rural residential projects mostly run by a family or few people. Weekly get together are organised, bringing together a whole valley or few valleys or few villages. They exchange produce with one another, ideas and innovations. They also help each other sharing working-bee days in each others properties, sharing skills, expertise, or machineries.

3) The last safe zones we identified are the Community Vegetable Gardens in Big Cities. This has been a phenomena of the last 10-20 years, taking over considerable amount of non utilised council land, abandoned land, sections of council parks, or abandoned farms and houses, that quickly get transformed from mere grass areas into beautiful productive zones, where people can meet, know each other, work together, enjoy support and sunshine, on top of friendship and fresh produce!!

Ravi-shekhar Ananda

Ravi-shekhar AnandaRavi-shekhar has a background in yoga, meditation, eastern mysticism and social activism. He believes humanity is moving through an historic shift of consciousness that is manifesting as polarisation between progressive and regressive forces. The capitalist and communist (oligarchical) systems, he claims, are both non-viable and need to be replaced without delay. The formula to do this is penetrating awareness of the problems (at all levels), integrated, practical solutions and mobilisation of the disgruntled.

The historic context: how did the world end up under the domination of powerful elites, what are their agendas, why are people leaving the cities in response, and, is it enough?

Oligarchy is rule by the few. We trace the rise of oligarchy in the ancient world of Persia, its progression into Egypt, the Greek, Roman and Byzantium Empires, then into Venice, which later spawned itself into the British Empire, which finally morphed into the Anglo-American Empire of today. It is argued that a “philosophical and occult thread” links all these oligarchical systems – an understanding of which is necessary to defeat the current oligarchs who are busy rolling out – on a global level – their latest efforts at “rule by the few”. It is in this context that the decision of increasing numbers of people to exit the cities and live on the land can be situated. Finally, the question is asked, “is this enough”?

Dada Padmesha’nanda – www.amurt.net/burkinafaso Carbon offset Burkino-Faso

Padmesha' with childrenBorn in France, Pierre Charron, aka Padmesha’nanda grew up in the Alps, he loved nature, sport, theatre, music, parties and studied and completed at a young age his degrees in physic and philosophy. Becoming a young adult, he felt a growing feeling of loneliness and dissatisfaction within him. At the age of 24 he left everything he knew and took a one-way ticket to India in search of meaning. This was soon the start of another journey, a spiritual one, as he met with a yogi monk of Ananda Marga (a “Dada”, a sannyasin) and had several transforming experiences while meditating. He started dedicating his life for both the spiritual quest and helping others in every possible way. He finally decided to undergo a training in 2005 to become a monk himself, which he became in 2008 at the age of 33. Since then, he is working in Burkina Faso, West Africa and mainly aims at developing, through a holistic and cooperative approach, a rural community center (a “Master Unit”) 50 km south of Ouagadougou. This thriving project has now several branches such as a school, a health center, a moringa project, agro ecology trainings, access to water programs, etc.

Ananda Vistara Master Unit: a flourishing eco-spiritual community in Burkina Faso

Ananda Marga land community, Burkina Faso with Dada Padmesha’nanda

The aim of this project is primarily to provide the local community with the basic necessities of life, using local human and
material resources.

The primarily focus of our NGO AMURT has been on the production of food through promoting eco-friendly local practices of production. Its successful moringa project employs a cooperation of 20 local women and a network of 25 local farmers,  providing a solution to malnutrition as well as providing economical opportunities to locals.

NGO AMURT is subsidizing a variety of human services:

  • a primary health post, which recently includes an urgently needed maternity clinic.
  • a school hosting over 300 students, provides educational material, free meals and medical care, with an enrichment program for its pupils that includes artistic expression, yoga and meditation, and forest regeneration programs.
  • helping surrounding villages to access clean water by drilling and providing wells.
  • building of a dam to retain surface water.

Holistic approaches to educating your children:

– Educating in remote aboriginal communities in Australia with Steve Tribbeck
– The spirit of Neohumanist Education with Didi Ananda Krpa
– Home educating your children with Parvati Brennan
– The heart of Waldorf Education with Katrina Sloan

Steve Tribbeck

Steve-TribbeckSteve Tribbeck will be talking about the role of education in remote indigenous communities; schools and family education; bilingual verses unilingual which is (unfortunately) happening in some communities.

My journey has taken me to the heart of many indigenous cultures throughout the world… Over the years my sense of responsibility to (Indigenous) countrymen has grown. Anyone who goes beyond the superficial with Indigenous people will know that they face many challenges – one of the most significant being that their voices are rarely heard or respected. Indigenous people are articulate, educated and deeply knowledgeable of their own laws and culture but language barriers, racism and geographical and philosophical distance from the mainstream conspire to leave them ignored and marginalized. Being keenly aware of this I have made it my life’s work to promote the awareness, respect for and understanding of Indigenous sensibilities and ways of being. In essence it is the work of fostering compassion for humankind in all its wonderful forms and celebrating diversity.

Didi Ananda Kr’pa

Didi Ananda Krpa is yogic nun and a missionary of Ananda Marga since 1983.
Presently based in Spain, she managed Ananda Marga Children’s homes and nursery schools in the Philippines, Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Denmark, Norway and Finland. Aside from that she teaches meditation and yoga to women, through seminars, workshops and lectures. Didi is also an ardent musician and teaches ukulele and guitar to children.

The Spirit of Neo-humanistic Education

Didi will speak on the unique feature of neo-humanist education; its role and implementation for families living in on-the-land, in times of crisis, in a home or community setting.

Parvati Brennan

Home educating your children

With her teaching experience at the Neo-humanist-Montesorri based Sunrise primary in London, Parvati considers herself a Neohumanist teacher. She also received training there as a Montessori directress. As her children’s needed change, she moved to the Small School, to continue refining the green lifestyle she was building and to keep it all on human scale. There she offered yoga asanas and meditation and worked on National Trust conservation projects with the teenagers. Parvati obtained a permaculture diploma at this setting and later set up Sunrise Outreach, in Devon, a tiny project, to home educating her four young children. It   soon interested other locals who sent their own children to the group.

Katrina Sloan

Katrina Sloan lives in Devon U.K. She got involved with Steiner/Waldorf education since 1995 when she did an education degree in the university of Plymouth. She worked in the south Devon Steiner school and also the Steiner academy in Exeter. Her three children also have been educated in these schools.

The heart of Warldorf education

Katrina Sloan will introduce the unique features of Waldorf education and its possible role for families with children living in on-the-land community and she will briefly touch on the practical implementation of these ideas.

Building intentional communities: Tools for creating social cohesion

RakeshRakesh will briefly touch on the emotional dynamics and pitfalls within group processes. He will introduce two effective tools such as Dragon dreaming and Sociocracy in a practical way:

1- Sociocracy is a governance system, best suited for organisations that want to self-govern based on the values of equality. Some people refer to sociocracy as Dynamic Self-Governance or simply Dynamic Governance.

2- Dragon Dreaming, as an inclusive process allows teams to build together a strong vision (dream), turn it into concrete objectives (plan) and actions (doing), and then acknowledge the whole process to move on. As a living system approach, it draws upon insights and inspiration from history, indigenous and diverse spiritual traditions, assisting in the creation of successful organisations and projects. In dragon dreaming the celebration phase, where we recognise and reflect on what we have achieved, learned and experienced is as important as any other phase of a project.

– Panel 1, Biologic architecture science and real application: A shared panel with Juan Schlosser and Dan Winter, bioarchitects.net

Daniel Winter – fractalfield.com

Dan Winter’s background is as multi-faceted as his viewpoint. Graduating with honors from the University of Detroit, Dan pursued graduate studies in psychophysiology and the origin of languages. He worked as a Systems Analyst with IBM, an industrial metallurgist and crystallographer, modeling at the MIT space lab to developing the early biofeedback prototype equipment as Dr. Albert Axe’s protégé. Widely traveled, Dan has sojourned to study at the Gurdjieff School of sacred gymnastics, in Florence with Buckminster Fuller, the Gizah pyramids, Israel, the Andes and at Findhorn. He was a church organist and choir director. He developed music using sonic samples taken from biological events — heart sounds, whale and dolphin songs, etc. His creative side emerges as playfulness with ideas which can be shared at different levels.

Dan’s work on biologic architecture: bioarchitects.net and goldenmean.info/architecture

In the 1980’s Dan established a learning center experiment in collective bio-harmony called “Crystal Hill Farm” where he hosted conferences with a prolific list of presenters on varied topics from sacred geometry to sustainable ecosystems. In the 1990’s Dan also cofounded the Circle of Life intentional community in Waynesville, NC.

He also designed the media lab which became Gaia TV.

The electrical science of biologic architecture

Sacred space and life force inside a seed are both defined by the same engineering. The charge field must be centripetal or fractal

or implosive. Measuring the frequencies of buildings proves that harmonic implosion is the true electrical science of creating structures which cause seeds and children to grow, see flameinmind.com/lifeforce .

Our international curriculum teaching biologic architecture is in use around the world: goldenmean.info/architecture and bioarchitects.net
Creating this living space requires using biologic materials (high dielectric) aligning to magnetic grids and avoiding things like steel, aluminum and electro-smog. The ancients knew how to create sacred space which could heal and cause seeds to activate. It is urgent that we learn this electrical science which in essence is the ‘fractal field’ of implosion.

Juan Schlosser – www.bioarc.co

Juan SchlosserJuan Schlosser is a bioarchitect and the founder of Bio Arc. The theme of his work is nature energy in all its forms and manifestations.

Juan has extremely diverse experience with sacred geometry structures through the use of patterns and forms found in nature.  Taking after his father, the renowned Austrian sculptor, Adolfo Schlosser, he has developed a touch for merging beauty, art and space, creating energetic environments. By taking inspiration from natural forms and the generative geometry that permeates all things, he has developed a language to his style.

Based in Bali, Juan as co-founder of ‘The New Earth Project’ and founder of Bio Arc, continues expanding the vision of bio architecture as a medium to redefine architectural practices and contribute to generating a scientific design basis to creating a regenerative architectural system.

Applications and experience from a biologic architect

Juan will present his professional work as a biologic architect and design engineer. His legendary bamboo structures have unique energetic qualities beneficial to all living systems.

Inspired by Dan Winter’s life work, Juan will touch on the measurement of buildings, confirming how charge signatures (fractal and centripetal) actually correlate to seed germination and life force. “If life force equals the ability to attract and self-organize capacitive charge, it becomes possible to define the real function of architecture. One reason architecture should look like biology is that biological structures have discovered through evolution the materials and shapes which allow the electrical fields we call life to converge into self-organization and self-awareness”. (Dan Winter – www.goldenmean.info)

Juan has also developed electrical measurement and techniques for implosion in water, identical in principle to electrical implosion in sacred architecture.

Bio-Architecture is the art of designing and building spaces enhancing living systems.

Through organic shapes, fractal patterns, certain proportions and bio-resonant ecological building materials it is possible to create functional and sacred space that nurtures and heals the body, mind and spirit.

This is key to reestablishing a symbiotic relationship between man and nature.

Alosha Lynov – www.bioveda.co

Alosha LynovSince 2007 Alosha Lynov has been developing a living habitat that merges nature with curvilinear interactive play space into one cohesive Living Bio Shelter organism that protects and nourishes the people living within whilst being able to withstand the extreme cold weather without conventional heating.

He recently relocated to Russia to develop Wautillarium Eco Home for Subzero t°. Once complete, this permaculture-inspired biological eco dwelling will heat and cool itself with laws of physics as well as thermophilic bacteria that thrive on human waste, producing compost for food production. The water cycle will loop between shower and food growing and water treating botanical cells.

Alosha is a natural builder, designer, and inventor who has synthesized the greatest minds of the planet in the fields of water ecosystem design, living machines, Augmented Reality parametric vault eco-construction to develop a fully autonomous home that is buriable and thus can handle the harshest and most erratic weather patterns, EMR radiation as well as strong wind and snow loads.

His passion is to share a functional hands-on DIY building techniques creatively infused with the laws of physics, biology, bio geometry, biomimicry, soil regeneration, water filtration as well as augmented reality.

Owner-build Living Bio Shelter Organism

In my presentation, I will share my designs, methods, experiences and realisations that I’ve gained after two decades of building curvilinear art-forms and Bio-Shelters based on sacred geometry.

By using natural and indigenous materials as well as tried and tested catenary and curvilinear forms, we can build eco homes using minimal amount of bought materials whilst retaining their strength and robustness.

I hope to inspire you to design and build your own Living Bio Shelter Organism  that treads lightly on our planet, mimicking nature’s genius by heating and cooling itself using laws of physics, whilst harvesting rain and UPcycling waste water multiple times through REgenerative living machines.

My latest research is leading me to incorporate EMR protection using a mix of Bio Geometry and Orgonite into the building material. (organic and inorganic compounds that a freely available as waste)

I will also discuss how we can incorporate Augmented Reality to assist us to become master builders of parametric vaulted shells (to be used as a buriable roof).

Nature-Centered Education

The educational system we have today was designed in the 19th and the 20th century to meet the needs of industry and the market. Young people were told to go out and conquer nature. As a result highly educated people are engaged in activities which destroy biodiversity, creat pollution and waste and cause climate catastrophe.

We need a new kind of education which is nature centred and respects the integrity of the natural world. Satish Kumar, the Founder of Schumacher College will expand and explore the theme of education fit for the 21st century.

The subtle and spiritual dimensions of living in community on-the-land

In this presentation Didi Ananda Us’a, Blue Eagle and Ravi-shekhar Ananda will share their understanding of the subtle and spiritual aspects of human life and define the role they play in the life of people living on land. Many land communities only focus on the physical level and community dynamics – conflict resolution, communication etc. Is this enough, or does the subtle and spiritual also play an important role in a successful, land-community? How can a land-community bring in the subtle and spiritual? What is the effect on the individual and community from doing this?

Didi Ananda Us'aDidi Ananda Us’a is a yoga-nun and a long-time missionary worker. Her work carried her across North, South and Central America, Asia and Europe, where she encountered large scale disparities and suffering  caused by social and economic exploitation, loss of cultural identity and deprivation of basic human rights.

Passionate about empowering the voiceless, she runs social service projects and teaches yoga and meditation. She feels that everyone can access their deep inner strength by developing their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual potentials.

Didi presently lives in North Carolina, USA where she manages a food security program for people experiencing poverty and supervises a meditation center and an agricultural development project.
